Biography
Delroy W. Davis is a highly accomplished security and legal professional with over 35 years of experience in law enforcement, diplomatic protection, and corporate security.
Throughout his career, Mr. Davis has established a reputation for excellence in intelligence gathering, tactical operations, and the implementation of robust safety protocols.
Law Enforcement & Intelligence
Mr. Davis served for over two decades with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS). His tenure included pivotal roles such as Detective Sergeant of the Drugs Task Force Intelligence Unit and Head of the Technical Support Unit, where he specialized in the detection and investigation of complex cases using advanced surveillance technology and oversight of in-depth undercover operations.
Legal & Prosecution
With a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) and training in the Professional Practice Course from the University of Liverpool, Mr. Davis brings a unique legal perspective to security. He has served as a Police Prosecutor, managing and presenting cases before Magistrates.
International Collaboration
Mr. Davis has a proven track record of working jointly with international agencies, including the DEA, U.S. Customs, Jamaican Defence Force (Military Intelligence) and the Jamaican Constabulary Force.
Instruction & Specialized Training
He is a recognized expert in Verbal Judo and self-defense, frequently conducting lectures and training for organizations such as the Health Services Authority (HSA) and corporate entities.
Diplomatic Protection & Corporate Security
As the former CEO of Davis Diplomatic Protection Services, he managed high level security risks for dignitaries, law firms, and major corporate entities. He currently contributes his expertise leading the Caribbean Utilities Company's Security Services, focusing on safety enforcement and specialized training.
Community & Leadership
Beyond his professional duties, Mr. Davis has served as a Voluntary Legal Advisor and held the position of Vice President of the Cayman Islands Karate-Do Association. He is a dedicated team player known for his public speaking skills and commitment to operational efficiency.
